Second Maricopa Turkey Trot to benefit food bank

The City of Maricopa Police Association would like to help local food bank F.O.R. (Food, Opportunity & Resources) Maricopa feed those in need this Holiday Season.

To that end, they are sponsoring the Second Annual Maricopa Turkey Trot and Canned Food Drive this Thanksgiving Day!

Run, walk, or trot in either two miles or four.  Invite your friends and family to help cheer you on.  Nearly one-hundred people took part in last year’s event

The Second Annual Maricopa Turkey Trot and Canned Food Drive will be held Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26th, 2009, in the parking lot of the Clubhouse at The Villages at Rancho El Dorado, 20991 N. Butterfield Pkwy.  Registration begins at 8:00 am, the Trot is at 8:30 am.
