Maricopa Police make aggravated assault arrest
Early Sunday morning, Maricopa Police responded to the 43000 block of West Elizabeth Avenue, in Senita, on a report of a fight.
Once on scene, responding officers found an injured male outside the residence who appeared unresponsive and who had several injuries to his head. The Maricopa Fire Department responded to provide emergency medical aid.
During the course of the investigation it was determined, through several eyewitnesses at the party, that the owner of the home, 22-year-old Chad George and the victim had become involved in a verbal altercation.
During the altercation, a female bystander who was attempting to intervene, was inadvertently struck. At this point, the altercation between George and the victim became physical. It was reported to an officer at the scene that George allegedly struck the victim several times in the upper body and head with an aluminum bat.
The victim, a 22-year-old male from Maricopa, was transported to the Maricopa County Medical Center in Phoenix, with life-threatening injuries. George was subsequently booked into the Pinal County jail on charges of aggravated assault with a dangerous instrument. Several other individuals on the scene were cited for underage consumption of alcohol.
Police detectives are still actively investigating this case. There has been no update on the condition of the victim at this time.

The person that was beat just got done beating his girl friend up then came to that party bragging about it !I dont fell sorry for him .
