Two taken to hospital in minor collision Friday evening
The Maricopa Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle collision Friday evening, which backed up traffic on the tail-end of rush hour.
The accident occured at John Wayne Parkway and Garvey Avenue, around 7:00 pm. A southbound Honda collided with a Mazda 6, which may have turned in front of it off of Garvey.
Paramedics treated two victims who were then transported to Chandler Regional Hospital for further evaluation.
The names of the victims have not been released at this time.
