Maricopa Development Services Department recognizes outstanding superintendents and trade professionals in Maricopa
On Wednesday, May 28, 2008, the City of Maricopa’s Development Services Department honored nine individuals whose work in the City deserved recognition.
Mayor Kelly Anderson awarded the Outstanding Residential Superintendent to Glen Brandt from D.R. Horton. Brandt is known for his impressive record to produce homes with relative ease and is well regarded for his leadership and management skills. Brandt has excellent first time inspection ratios, and his work performance and inspection preparations are at the highest levels
Jeff Ramsouer, from Howard S. Wright Construction, was recognized as the Outstanding Commercial Superintendent. Ramsouer is regarded for his leadership ability and the positive work environment he creates for his trade personnel. Ramsouer’s project management ability is outstanding, and he has an excellent reputation with sub-contractors and inspection staff.
Outstanding residential sub-contractors named included: Framer Tommy Hester, Plumber Nacho Montoya, Electrician Tom Winscher, and Mechanical Tradesman Hector Avila.
Outstanding commercial sub-contractors included: Lyle McCreary for mechanical, Linnie Kent for framing, Tony Portillo for plumbing, Joel Martin for electrician and Mike Huff for Masonry.
Superintendents were selected by Maricopa Development Inspection Staff with input from Permit Technicians based on the following criteria: first time inspection ratios, code knowledge, assigned work loads, building safety awareness and management skills. Trade Professionals were nominated and selected by Builder Superintendents.
