Adam Poland instructs children
(Chandler, AZ – July 24, 2012)Xpression’s Childrens Orchestra and Violin Instructor Adam Poland is the newest member of Chandler Symphony Orchestra. “We are incredibly proud of Adam and all his accomplishments and honored he is one of our instructors,” says owner Julie Stanfill.
Adam Poland has participated in several orchestras across Arizona both playing in them and as an instructor. He first learned how to play violin in an after-school program and then in high school taught himself how to play Viola, Cello and Bass. In the Maricopa High School Orchestra he played bass and violin and was awarded the National School Orchestra Award in his senior year. Adam has been the Assistant Orchestra Director at Pathway since it was started and will be playing with the Chandler Symphony Orchestra this coming season. Adam is happy to now be teaching at Xpressions Center For The Arts.
Xpressions is committed to helping children learn instruments and developing their musical talents. According to research, children who play an instrument are 80% more likely to graduate from high school and 52% more likely to graduate from college. Mr. Poland teaches lessons (Violin, Viola, Bass, & Cello) on Thursday evenings. Private, weekly 30 minute lessons are only $35 per month and instruments can be rented from The Music Store in Mesa for a minimal fee.
Xpressions also offers private voice lessons & piano lessons, group guitar lessons, Childrens GLEE Choir, Adult Choir, and Childrens Orchestra.
