He is doing the best for all of us. Why give our money to a private company' if this is about safety? Keep up the good work Sheriff Babeu.

Arizona will be ban photo radar this year, thanks to the great American Sheriff Paul

lets not forget that Babeu has several high speed tickets via photo radar. I think it was like 6 or so in 2 years. No wonder he hates them. If you dont speed the cameras are not a problem.

Good stuff here. It certainly sounds like people are wanting a full blown audit of the police department and possibly changes with the Director of Public Safety and Police Chief. I would dust off my resumes if I were those two guys.

The Candidate Forum will be available for viewing at Maricopa20 on Sunday Feb 7th at 0900 and 2100. They will repeat the broadcast twice a day for a week. It could potentially air sooner, but Sunday is when they guarantee. It will also be avaiable for online viewing starting on Sunday.

This was a very informative and objective article, well done. It was obvious that Pittsburgh got a lot of help from the refs and it really made an inferior offense keep up with their deficits against a clearly better one.
I came upon this article because, after having noticed many of these bad calls during the superbowl, just the other day I saw a replay of the James Harrison fumble return and I couldn't believe it but I did see Hightower being clearly pushed in the back. If you were to take just this call alone and correct it, then we take 7 points off the steelers score and they lose the game. Obviously it could have turned out differently still, but the way they played, clearly well below the level of the Arizona offense, I'd say just that play could have done it. The officiating was atrocious and if the NFL weren't now about politics i'd say they would feel some shame about what a bad job they did on that game. Pittsburgh gives new meaning to their name and should be called the "Stealers", as they stole that game with the refs help. It sure seems to be a bias with this evidence, but i'm not going to speculate more about that, i'll just stop watching NFL if it keeps up. Lastly, I do have to mention that the intentional grounding on roethlisburger was so obvious it was shocking. Roethlisburger had the worst passer rating of any winning team in Superbowl history and with all the evidence I think its fair to say he should have just been obviously poorer QB on the losing team, not the overrated worst QB in SB history.

I'm a FCC licensed amateur radio operator. The person that did this more than likely does not have a license.

From time to time, kids will get on their father's radio and goof around. This is a bit more serious because first responders became involved.

Unfortunately, due to the long distance capability of this sort of equipment and the lack of FCC enforcement officials, it would be next to impossible to locate a suspect.

Apparently two separate distress calls were heard on two different Ham Radio channels about 10 minutes apart. Strange situation.
